Weaver Works, Inc. was started by Carlyle Weaver in May of 1983 when he decided to purchase a Ditch Witch trencher from a friend in Wolftown, VA. Carlyle ran the business part time while working for the US Postal Service where he had been since in high school. In October of 1988 he hired his first employee and in December he left the postal service and went full time with his business
