DuCard Vineyards - WINE EDUCATION & EXPLORATION – CHARDONNAY

April 21, 2024

12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

DuCard Vineyards - 40 Gibson Hollow Ln., Etlan, VA 22719

Ever wonder why one wine is so different than another?  Have trouble deciding which wines you like best, and explaining why?  Do you hear a lot of wine jargon that you don’t really understand?

Join wine educator, Ann Czaja, DipWSET, to explore Old and New World Chardonnay styles.

One of the wine world’s most versatile grapes, Chardonnay often falls into two distinct camps: those who love it and those who hate it. For wine drinkers who politely (or vehemently) decline, it’s usually because their first experience was a mass produced, inexpensive oak and butter bomb. But Chardonnay can assume many forms, from beautiful bubbles, to still wines ranging from crisp & steely to round & robust. Let us change your mind about or introduce you to new iterations of the grape beloved by winemakers worldwide.

We will hold two sessions: 12pm and again at 3:00pm.

Small bites will accompany the wines, and some wines will be available for purchase at the end of each session.

Session price:  $69 per person (Wine Club discounts apply, email Beth for WC reservations), advance reservation required, and space is limited. See below to make your reservations today.
