Taste of Virginia: Oyster Wines
Join us for a truly delicious Taste of Virginia featuring… Oyster Wines! We’ll be joined by our friends, Bruce and Daniel Vogt of Big Island Aquaculture as well as Barboursville’s Luca Pascina, Chatham Vineyard’s Jon Wehner and Early Mountain’s winemaker, Ben Jordan. In addition to an overview of the importance of place to both oyster and grape farming, we’ll taste three wines whose crisp fruit and citric character make them a perfect foil to raw oysters.
