THE INN & TAVERN AT MEANDER
SUNDAY SUPPER DINNER SERIES
Want to enjoy a delicious Sunday Supper with fried chicken, pulled pork and all the fixings while overlooking a sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains?
Every Sunday, the Inn & Tavern at Meander, a 1766 historic inn and restaurant in Madison County, Virginia hosts its Sunday Supper dinner series with a three-course plated dinner. There will be two seatings at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
For $25 per person, guests will receive a first course of tomato and cucumber salad with a red wine vinaigrette and house-made corn bread with honey butter; a second course of fried chicken or pulled pork BBQ with a choice of three sides; and a third course of seasonal fruit cobbler. Beer and wine from Virginia breweries and wineries will be available for purchase. Children under 12 are $12 per person and we’ll have yard games for the whole family.
Additionally, every Sunday, there will be a historic walking tour at 3 p.m. for guests to learn more about the history of Meander. The property is surrounded by 80 acres of rolling landscapes in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a story to tell around every corner. Several of America’s forefathers including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson visited Meander; and Stonewall Jackson’s army left behind a collection of artifacts now preserved and on display in the inn.
The Sunday Supper series will continue every Sunday into the summer and will offer indoor and outdoor seating. Pets are allowed outside.
