WINE EDUCATION & EXPLORATION – ROSÉ JULY 16 $69
Ever wonder why one wine is so different than another? Have trouble deciding which wines you like best, and explaining why? Do you hear a lot of wine jargon that you don’t really understand? Join us for the next Sip and Learn session at DuCard. Hooray for Rosé!
Thanks to its trendy pink hue and reputation as a day drinking staple, rosé has seen a surge in popularity in recent years. Although this pink wine has become the go-to summertime drink for social media influencers, it’s actually one of the oldest types of wines ever made. Rosé isn’t specific to any particular variety of grape, it’s more like a genre. Colors and flavors vary. It can be bone-dry and crisp or fruity and sweet. Some can even age. Want to know all about rosé? Join wine educator, Ann Czaja, DipWSET, for a guided tasting of Old World and New World rosé wines. P.S. We’ll talk about Sutter Home, but probably won’t sip any…probably. We will hold two sessions: 1pm and again at 3:30pm.
Small bites will accompany the wines, and some wines will be available for purchase at the end of each session.
Session price: $69 per person (Wine Club discounts apply), advance reservation required, and space is limited. See below to make your reservations today.
