WINE EDUCATION & EXPLORATION – CHARDONNAY
FEBRUARY 26 @ 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM $69
Ever wonder why one wine is so different than another? Have trouble deciding which wines you like best, and explaining why? Do you hear a lot of wine jargon that you don’t really understand?
This fun and educational session will help demystify the process of tasting, analyzing and describing wines – to help you better enjoy them. Wine educator, Ann Czaja, DipWSET, will lead you through tastings of a variety of Chardonnay wines from Virginia, California and France that represent different styles or categories. You’ll learn how to identify the key characteristics of each wine and what factors in growing the grapes and making the wine influence the resulting aromas and taste profiles. Through a combination of tasting, discussion, slides and Q&A you’ll gain a better understanding of your own palate and add to your knowledge and enjoyment of Chardonnay.
We will hold two sessions: 1pm and again at 3:30pm. 1PM is SOLD OUT. Limited space available for 3:30PM.
Small bites will accompany the wines, and some wines will be available for purchase at the end of each session.
Session price: $69 per person (Wine Club discounts apply), advance reservation required, and space is limited. See below to make your reservations today.
