Beginner Soap Making Workshop – Most Saturdays at Graves Mountain farm & Lodges.  We are local soap artisans – the farmers of Cornerstone Lavender Farm in nearby Rapidan.  We bring our soaping skills to Graves Mountain Farm with soap making workshops on most Saturdays at 1 PM, $90 per person.  The minimum age to participate in the workshop, is 16.

Soap making has come a long way since settlers used ashes from the fireplace and collected rainwater to make lye. It used to be a chore to make soap. This is no longer the case. In fact, it’s a lot of fun.

We supply all the materials, colors, and fragrance oils to create your own unique handcrafted soap.

Our guests will leave with 8 – 10 bars of soap, depending on how it is cut. There’s nothing more gratifying than using a soap that you have made yourself.
