The Dad Pack
We asked our resident dads what wines they are loving this summer. Then we packed them together to make your Dad’s day!
The pack includes one bottle of each of the below (4 bottles total) & we’ve got the shipping covered.
Five Forks 2020: Petit Manseng is the white grape I most look forward to working with every year. I love that it can make a deep and intense varietal wine and then be a part of something quite different in Five Forks. It still brings the density, but Sauvignon Blanc tempers it, and Five forks becomes a fresh and snappy go-to white for almost anything we want to eat in June. It can also be a go-to wine for those times we aren’t eating, because sometimes dads aren’t eating. – Ben Jordan, Winemaker
Rosé 2020: I love our 2020 Rose. The color is brilliant and the subtle yet rounded flavors of spring and summer fruits are delectable. This rose is delicate on the palette but also has that crisp intensity I crave after a busy day in the kitchen. – Tim Moore, Executive Chef
Quaker Run Cabernet Franc 2020: Take your pick of our cabernet francs – they are all absolutely delicious! My personal favorite is the single-vineyard cab franc from Quaker Run. I love cab franc for its savory, pepper-like flavors and medium-high acidity. It’s an ideal food pairing wine and goes particularly well with some signature “Dad Favorite” dishes – cheeseburgers, pizza, pork belly, and meatballs with marinara. Like Dad……cab franc tends to slowly mellow with age.
– Dave Kostelnik, General Manager
Novum 2019: For power, I open Eluvium. But for a red that I can have with a fondue or cheese plate, the brightness and lightness of Novum is my favorite.

Merlot 100%, Old(er) Vine
This is “fancy” rosé, sourced from some of the oldest vines we farm at Quaker Run. The aromas take you directly to the deeper, redder flavors of ripe strawberries and black cherries. The wine is round, mouth filling and almost seeming to dance a bit into red wine territory, before admitting it is, in fact, rosé.
2019 Capstone Cabernet Franc – $42 Retail | $35.70 Club Member, Member-exclusive release.
The dry heat of the vintage amplifies the structure and intensity of this wine. Aromatically, it is striking how “grape driven” they are; this is Cabernet Franc. The flavors echo this approach and pull us away from the style that emphasizes the character of the barrel and long aging. This wine has just begun its journey; we recommend patience and aeration to show us what it has to offer, and what it has in store.
