As a thank you for your continued support throughout the year, Madison County Parks & Recreation is excited to invite your business or organization to participate in our inaugural Battle of the Businesses during the Hoover Ridge Birthday Celebration on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Hoover Ridge Park!

This FREE community event is designed to bring local businesses together for an afternoon of friendly competition, teamwork, and fun.

What we need from you: As a business owner or organization leader, we are looking for you to share this with your team. You’ll need to select a team captain – someone I can communicate with regarding schedule and team information.

 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM
 Awards Ceremony: 6:15 PM – 6:30 PM

Featured Events

• Slow Pitch Softball
• Grass Volleyball
• Pickleball
• Corn Hole

Businesses will compete across all four events to earn points toward the overall Battle of the Businesses Champion title!

Team Requirements

• Minimum of 20 participants per business/team
• Participants in softball and volleyball must be age 12 or older
• Teams may include employees, family members, and friends

Minimum employee participation requirements:

• Softball: 4 employees
• Volleyball: 2 employees
• Pickleball: 1 employee
• Corn Hole: 1 employee

Additional Information

• Participation is completely FREE
• Food trucks will be available throughout the event
• This is a recreational community event focused on fun, teamwork, and celebrating our local businesses and organizations

Commitment Deadline

Please let us know if your business would like to participate by June 15, 2026.
